Water distribution in Benahavís

The drinking water supply system in the municipality of Benahavís is comprised of a distribution network that receives the wholesale water supplied by Acosol from the various connections at points in the municipality, the Guadalmina River and the various catchment wells, and transports it to the homes of Benahavís' inhabitants.

Geographic Information System (GIS)

Aguas de Benahavís has worked for two years on the municipality's geographic information system (GIS). This tool allows us to make more sustainable use of our drinking water supply network and sewer system. Among other things, this has brought about an improvement in the processes of reading people's meters and billing, in addition to managing by computer the control of faults in the distribution and sewer network.
